Spotlight: Georgia Life Sciences Summit 2008 


Brad Kairdolf, a Georgia Tech alum and founder of DiagNano (a company created in 2006 in collaboration with the Georgia Tech School of Management and Emory University Law School ), recently gave a presentation at the Georgia Life Sciences Summit 2008.  Kairdolf presented the company’s signature product - a unique disease diagnostic tool (quantum dot nanoparticles) – in the hopes of attracting investors.  Although geared towards cancer diagnosis, this technology could, in theory, be applied to any disease that requires tissue biopsy.  Following the Summit , numerous prospective investors expressed interest.
